Support for upkeep of Masjid & Education for Orphans
Last Ramadan we aimed to build 1 Masjid for the Rohingya people living inside Burma and with your amazing generosity, we managed to raise funds to build 2 Masjid’s.
We now are looking to continue the works on both Masjids to ensure their long-term sustainability along with supporting the users of the Masjid, namely the opportunity to provide education for orphans.
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: ‘Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) in which the Name of Allah is mentioned, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.'” (Sahih)

Project Summary
For the long-term support of both the masjids built with your support, we require the following.
– Water Well Units
– Ablution Areas (Wudu Areas)
– Bathroom Facilities
– Waqaf Al-Quran
– Imam & Teacher Allowance for 1 year
– Solar Power Facility
– Sponsorship for Orphans
We calculate the cost of the upkeep to be around £15,000 including the admin cost for Sincere Giving to facilitate the fundraising.
Any surplus funds raised will be used for Sincere Giving admin. Please note we are a fully volunteer run charity, admin cost is used to setup events and facilitate costs of transferring funds abroad.
