Is Sincere Giving a Registered Charity?

Currently we are registered as a Ltd company that is not for profit. We are in the process of registering with Charities Commission to get our charity number.

Can I claim Gift Aid on funds I have raised?

To claim Gift Aid on your fundraising, we must have the first name or initials, last name, full home address and postcode of each individual donor/sponsor. So please encourage them to tick the Gift Aid box on your sponsorship form when they sponsor you. Without these details we legally can’t claim Gift Aid – so be strict with your supporters!

How much does Sincere Giving spend on admin?

Sincere Giving is fully volunteer ran, which means none of our volunteers or directors take any compensation for the time they give. Our current target is to give 85% of all donations to the causes and use the remaining 15% for admin, which includes the cost of marketing for new donations.
